Answer July—
Where is the Bee—
Where is the Blush—
Where is the Hay?

Ah, said July—
Where is the Seed—
Where is the Bud—
Where is the May—
Answer Thee—Me—

Nay—said the May—
Show me the Snow—
Show me the Bells—
Show me the Jay!

Quibbled the Jay—
Where be the Maize—
Where be the Haze—
Where be the Bur?
Here—said the Year—

Emily Dickinson
Hello, there!
In may, 2013, Yoyokaku had another show of pottery by Hanako Nakazato.
Her monotone world of art is so silent, gentle, but eloquent.
Hanako is, well, a kind of boyish personality, looked only from outside. But she is quite feminine inside.
This is what I found from my 30 years' watch over her.
Hanako did not want to be addressed like a princess. She denied to wear a skirt, but always wore pants. She tried to behave like a little PRINCE.. Five year old Hanako tried to escort her mother, and on her way home from school, she picked up some wild flowers for Mom everyday. She wanted to give this flower fresh to Mom, so she run up the hill to her house, all sweating.

Her love of nature sometimes reminds me of Emily Dickinson who was silent but at the same time eloquent.

Please enjoy her latest works, together with wild flowers of early summer.

How did you enjoy these gentle flowers in the field?
You cannot buy them at a florist's shop.
We picked them up at our garden or field, hill, mountain.

Please come to Yoyokaku to see these pretty things.
